The Start Of My Yoga Journey



Yoga has always interested me but I have always felt that I would never have the time to actually take it up as a hobby. Sjana Earp (Also staring in my last post 5 Instagrams To Folow For Everyday Outfit Inspiration) is such an inspiration to me, I have watched her yoga journey for many years through social media; Instagram, Youtube and her blog.
Back to where I said that I thought I would never have time for yoga. I'm sure a lot of you feel this way also, but 1 have decided 15 minutes, 3 times a week is not a lot of time. I read some where that the average American teen spends about 20 hours a week watching television, so if your telling me you don't have time to spend 45 minute to do something that is so good for your health; mentally and physically then you must have a very busy life.
I have downloaded an app called Daily Yoga - Get Fit & Relaxed and I think its going to be really helpful in order to keep committed, I'm also going to use Sjana's videos for workouts and maybe write an entry for every workout with the date, duration and which workout/method. I don't know how long I'm going to be able to keeps this up but I really hope its for a while.
Yoga is amazing for you in so many different ways, here's a few;

  1. It's a great workout,
  2. It gets you in touch with your body,
  3. It can help you breathing technique,
  4. It can improve your sleep.
  5. It will improve your posture.
  6. It can develop your physical and mental strength.
  7. Meditation can change your life for the better.
