More Adventures - Darwin!

Hello,
How longs it been? Two weeks? Three? Far too long, any way a lot has happened since my last post. As I’m writing this I’m sat on an aeroplane, plot twist or what!?

Let me start with say that about two months ago my dad got offered a job up in Darwin, Northern Territory and took it. This has been pretty rough on me as I’m extremely close with my dad, we get on so well because were both into the same things; camping, hiking, swimming, surfing, music, travel, adventures and heaps more. I know my dad loves me and as he keep repeating to me over and over that he’s only a phone call away whenever I need him.

So let me continue with telling you that about two weeks ago Dad decided it would be a good idea for me to come see him as its school holidays in about a week (I’m not sure how your school holidays work but basically we get two weeks off between each term and then I think about six during the summer). We decided I would leave a week before school holidays (now) and then come back during the first week of the next school term, so I will be in Darwin for about three and a half weeks.
I’ll be writing posts about everything I get up too and anything else I come up with. You can share this adventure with me!

Its 9:32 PM and I’m sat on a plane, BY MYSELF! As my older sister is in year 12 at school she has so much school work to do and her attendance has to be near perfect, therefore she is at home and I have to travel the 4 and a half hour plane trip on my own. Saying it kind of sounds a bit scary but I’ve flown quite a lot in my life so far so basically I’m used to it. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it in a previous blogpost but both my parents are British and flew to Australia after they got married, my sister and I were both born in Australia so were both aussie’s. Because of this all my family lives in England, so we try travel there to see them as often as possible. Australia to England is usually two flights one lasting 8 hours and the other 16. I’ve been traveling in planes science I was a couple of months old so they don’t freak me out or anything. About two years ago my sister and I went to England with my Dad, but he was able to stay for 10 weeks but we were only allowed 6 off school. This meant the two of us had to fly all the way back from England by ourselves! We went as ‘unintended child’ so basically we got escorted everywhere and got to jump all of the cues, which was awesome! (But this time around I’m not ‘unintended child’ so I’m by myself for real). I’ve also flown to other places like domestic trips(Queensland), Japan, New Zealand twice, Holland, Kula Lumper and Dubai. I am so extremely lucky to of been able to see so many amazing places so far and I never take that for granted. I think it’s fair to say if caught the travel bug! I can’t wait to keep exploring our amazing world.

Ps. I’m not sure how often I’m going to able to post as my dad doesn’t have internet yet but I’ll try write them up as usually and then just post when I get the chance to connect to Wi-Fi. I’m not even sure when this will post will be uploaded.

Also, I’m not sure how many or if anyone at all actually reads my blog. This doesn’t bother me because it’s my way of expressing myself and I believe it’s a good thing I’m able to let out my thoughts whether or not people are actually reading them. But saying that I would be so awesome to know that people read what I’m putting down in my little part of what we call the internet. I would really appreciate if you took the time to write a comment below, just saying hey or any advice on how to make my blog better or write where you’ve traveled? Or want to travel? That’s all for real this time, bye.
