Brunch is definitely my favourite meal - especially on Sunday. Except this was a Monday.

Today is a public holiday for the queens birthday so my sister and I went out for brunch at a little cafe called The Wooden Squirrel. For those who don't know what brunch is, it's a cross between breakfast and lunch. When it's to late for breakfast but to early for lunch, a mix of breakfast food and lunch food.

Sunday is usually my lazy day but I had an 8 hour shift at work this Sunday so Monday was my lazy day instead, which included an amazing brunch: a pancake stack with caramelised banana, ice-cream, and salted walnut prailline.
